Your visit, step by step
Check in with the friendly reception team at your chosen practice, take a seat, and relax. Your TELOMYX specialist will greet you at your appointment time and guide you to the mobile clinic for your scan.
The scan itself takes around seven minutes. You lie still, fully clothed, while the scanner passes over you. It is completely painless and uses a very low X-ray dose.
One accessibility note: the mobile clinic is accessed via a short set of steps, so we are currently unable to accommodate clients who cannot climb stairs.

Yes. A DEXA scan uses a very low X-ray dose, a fraction of a standard chest X-ray, and takes around seven minutes.
