On testing days, our fully equipped mobile clinic parks at the practice. You check in at reception as you would for any appointment, and a TELOMYX specialist takes it from there.

Your visit, step by step
Check in with the friendly reception team at your chosen practice, take a seat, and relax. Your TELOMYX specialist will greet you at your appointment time and guide you to the mobile clinic for your scan.
The scan itself takes around seven minutes. You lie still, fully clothed, while the scanner passes over you. It is completely painless and uses a very low X-ray dose.
If you are having an RMR test, we will get you settled and comfortable in a fully rested state, then you simply breathe normally through a mouthpiece with a soft nose clip for around 15 minutes while we measure your metabolism.
One accessibility note: the mobile clinic is accessed via a short set of steps, so we are currently unable to accommodate clients who cannot climb stairs.
